Save Me
Words and music ©copyright 1986 by Robert Epler and Mark Horn

Performed by White Coal.
Recorded live** at practice
circa November 1985
at 'The Rock Block'
in Vancouver, Washington

If I get through today, where will I be?  What will I see?
Is it worth the grief and pain to face another day?  No way!

Well I've heard that love is blue, but that isn't true, girl I wish I knew
I feel that love is black with death, and I want to get away, get out of this wreck

CHORUS:
Will you, will you, will you save me?
Will you, will you, will you save me?

The chains are on my arms, but what can I do?  I can't see through you
I can't stand hearin' one more time: 'Go to hell little brother if you won't give the sign
-CHORUS-

-Solo-
Well I've heard that love is blue, but that isn't true, girl I wish I knew
I feel that love is black with death, and I want to get away, get out of this wreck
-CHORUS-

**   Instruments (drums - bass - guitar - keyboard) were recorded on 4-track cassette at 9.5 ips.
These were then mixed down onto another cassette tape, reduced to a 2-channel stereo mix at 4.75 ips.
This 2nd cassette tape was then put back in the 4-track and, at 4.75 ips,.
the resulting extra 2 tracks were used for lead and background vocals, recorded a couple of weeks later.
What you hear is the resulting final mixdown onto a 3rd cassette tape!!
